Not advised to run you battery down to "critical point."

Critical point / low battery was maybe a better way to say that. so the answer you have is no, that option no longer exist?
i'm on the laptop frequently but keeping it plugged in 24-7 based on everything i've read on the web is not such a good practice. When it's not plugged in and the battery is getting low it used to give me a reminder to get power plugged it. If i'm focused on working, i'm certainly not focused on looking at the battery icon and the laptop will just go dead. Thats annoying! Not sure why a feature like that was taken away?
