Apple will replace the battery under warranty if its maximum capacity falls below 80% or displays a message in Settings/Battery/Battery Health saying the battery is degraded, during either the 1 year warranty period or the AppleCare+ extended warranty if you purchased AppleCare+ when you bought the phone.
