I recently purchased an iphone from Officeworks and opened the box. When I realized that the phone was small, I tried to return the phone on the day it was delivered but they declined my return stating that the box is already open and they cannot accept it. What can I do in this situation?

You will have to work it out with whatever officeworks is since you bought it from them.
There is nothing Apple or us can do for you.
The thing is I will not get the exact amount I paid for it even if I do so. And when I checked the trade-in program it is showing only $550 whereas I spend $1220 for this product.
