Blank wallpaper in the Mac icon in "About This Mac" and "System Preferences"

After updating to MacOs Ventura the Mac icon shown inside the About This Mac window shows a blank grey screen, instead of the actual Ventura stock wallpaper. Same bug happens also when navigating to System preferences > General > Description.

In Monterey the bug was not present. Already tried updating to Ventura 13.1, no changes.

Is anyone experiencing the same bug? I also have a MacBook Pro and the bug is not present there.

Why is this a bug? For some reason, Apple may have just decided to do it this way.

It really just seemed a bug! The solid grey made me believe it was not supposed to be there.

Well, thanks for sharing, at least you have a blue gradient screen. 😆

Anybody with a colored 24" M1 iMac? I suppose that since my iMac is silver then also the picture is color coordinated?
