iCloud settings broken after update to macOS 13.1

Anybody else have this issue?

Subsequent to yesterdays update to macOS 13.1 (Ventura), I noticed that Settings → (my name)/Apple ID → iCloud was very sluggish, if not completely unresponsive. A little bit after getting into that setting pane I got this:

Through a post at a different forum I found that a workaround is to turn off Private Relay. It had been on from before the update. I did, and now the settings pane works fine.

I am waiting for 13.1.1, however, before attempting to turn Private Relay back on.

Thank you! This worked for me. After update to 13.1 iCloud pane was so unresponsive that it would not even scroll. Clicking on anything had no effect. System Settings search for Freeform to turn cloud on - would not search.

As suggested, I started in Safe Mode, and it worked. I restarted not in Safe Mode and it still worked.

Working fine on 2 Apple Computers upgraded from Ventura 13.0.1 to 13.1

1 - Restart in Safe Mode. This will perform a Disk Repair, clear cache files and only load Apple Software, extensions and fonts. The boot up will be slow and can take some time - Normal.

2 - Safe Mode will also eliminate Third Party Software, extensions and drivers from loading

3 - Does the issue present in this mode ?

4 - Sometimes a Safe Boot followed by a Normal Boot will just put things right.

Same/similar here. After updating to 13.1 I saw a message about private relay after first login, but didn't pay close attention to remember what it said. I thought to go to setting and check if I had it on or off anyhow. Going to settings and clicking my Apple ID it goes unresponsive and even waiting at least 5 minutes does not bring up iCloud options to even try disabling private relay or anything else for that matter.

Hi i have the same issues and I tried logout and in both of my devices. And also in safe mode but with the same results. It is slow and total broken, iCloud tried to upload 8k for the last month. I really want apple to concentrate to fix things people actually use and pay for. Instead implement fancy features. I feel for every macOS they make the more issues there is. No other company makes new os every year
