Remote Login Always On For nearly a week every time I go to Sharing prefs. "Remote Login" is always checked—though I uncheck it every time. Yesterday I used this terminal command to shut it down and, while it confirmed it had, the check mark is still there. sudo /System/Library/CoreServices/RemoteManagement/ARDAgent.app/Contents/Resources/kickstart -deactivate Removed preference to start ARD after reboot. Unfortunately this weirdness coincides with discovery of two new devices on our network outside our IP-range, unaccounted for after a careful audit, etc. I looked to see if the Remote Login malady is a known bug and didn't find anything. Would love to hear any ideas including all the ways the switch to turn it on (see Terminal response) can get activated.

PLEASE HELP - Remote Management Popup since update to Sonoma We are managing several Macbooks with Apple-Chips in our company and have registered them on Apple Business Manager. Even though the devices are on the status "unassigned", the devices that upgraded to Sonoma get an unskippable message to contact the remote management server eventually. Is there something I am missing? Why does this message pop up? Help is appreciated, thanks.

TEAM HCiSO has added items that can run in the background, should I be concerned?! Hi there, I'm looking for some advice if possible? For the past few weeks, I keep getting the following popup notifications from System Settings (after a startup and/or wakeup, sometimes randomly throughout the day), saying: Background Items Added – Software from "TEAM HCiSO" added items that can run in the background. You can manage this in Login Items Settings. After a quick search online I found the following website: https://github.com/HoMeCracKeR I went to my Login Items and found a "TEAM HCiSO", I turned it off so it doesn't open automatically when I login. I also ran a Malwarebytes scan but it didn't find anything. Does anyone know what it might be? 😬 Thanks so much.

Open Activity Monitor>Sort on name>Force Quit>TeamViewer.
