HomeKit, wife not receiving invitation.
All devices running latest software. I have a home hub (HomePod mini and ATV,) both iCloud accounts using 2FA. Network has been reset. I invite my wife, she never receives the invitation. Any ideas?

This is what I’m worried about. I had just reset my home due to none of my devices responding.
I don’t enjoy filling my afternoon with setting stuff up that I’ve already setup 4x at this point. Hoping for a real solution soon.
EDIT: When opening the Home app on my wife’s phone, it gives you the info about home and gives a “continue” button. Clicking that button seems to create a “new home”.
I was able to fix this by deleting that home, and when it shows the home app info and BEFORE a new home is created, sent the invite to my wife. She immediately got the invitation and was able to join.
Hope this helps!

I had the same problem, that i sent the invitation to my wife, but she didn’t receive it. The only thing that helped was deleting My Home and consequently set up again my HomePod mini. Then, when i sent the invtation again, it worked.
This worked for me. Removed TV and NEW HomePod, deleted Home app and set up everything thing from scratch. Invite resent, received and working properly. Thanks
Hi there deltabrav0,
If you are having issues sharing control of your home, these steps from Share control of your home can help resolve what's happening:
If you can't share control of a home
• To invite people to control your home while you're away and edit permissions for them, you need to set up a home hub. If you don't have a home hub set up, you can only invite people when you're home and connected to your home Wi-Fi network. Matter-enabled accessories require a home hub, such as Apple TV 4K or HomePod mini.
• If Home has been upgraded to the new Home architecture, you must set up a home hub to share control of your home.
• You and the people you invite need the latest version of iOS, iPadOS, or macOS.
• Make sure that you and the people you invite are signed in to iCloud on iPhone, iPad, or Mac. In iCloud settings, turn on Home.
• Make sure that you and the people you invite haven't blocked each other's phone number or Apple ID. Learn how to manage blocked phone numbers, contacts, and emails on iPhone or iPad and how to manage blocked callers on Mac.
We hope that helps!
An update from Apple Support: They have no solution but engineering is working on it and it will be fixed in a future Apple update. The actual response from Apple is quoted below:
"I did get a response from the engineer team and they said that they are aware of this issue and they are currently working on it as it is under investigation. Basically, all you and your wife need to do at this point is keep your devices up to date. The resolution will be in the form of an update."
This will not be resolved anytime soon.
The response to this problem doesn’t mention that AppleTV can be a HomeHub too. I’ve had the same problem and I’ve seen many others posting the same problem. I’ve been on the phone with Apple 4 times, spending about 8 hours on support trying one experiment after another with no solution. It has been elevated to engineering twice with full log files but all they want to do is more experimental steps to see if one of them works. Nothing works. Apple should quit releasing products not ready for use and inadequately tested. It’s as if they have no idea how their own software works. We pay high prices for these products and services. We should not be their testers too!!!
When you delete the Home App ... did you have to reconfigure all the devices into the Home App ?
Oh Gosh...That's the last thing I hope I don't have to do ! I have too devices in the Home App..
I've tried so many other ways, even upgraded my 3rd Generation AppleTV to the latest AppleTV/4k with 128Gb... still not able to get it to delivery the HomeApp's Invitations !
This worked immediately! Thanks for the tip!
