iMac M1 external displays Displaylink

Hi,

I have a MacBook Pro with M1 and when I want to use 2 external displays, I use DisplayLink and HP G2 docking station and it work just great.

No I would like to upgrade my iMac 27 i5 to iMac 24 with M1. Would the iMac M1 also works with the HP G2 and DisplayLink so I can use another 2 external displays as I have now?

Thanks,

Jakub

Yes, I know that only one external display is supported. I had the same problem with MacBook M1. However, with DisplayLink is possible to connect up to 6 displays (I think) with supported docking stations. And it works great. So I expect that with iMac will be the same. However, I didn't find any information regarding that on the internet. There are many articles about MacBooks M1 with DisplayLink, but never iMac with DisplayLink.

So I hope there will be no limitation and will be the same as in MacBook.
