If I have my AirPods Max connected to my MacBook Pro via the lightning to 3.5 mm jack cable and I open a Dolby Atmos project on Logic Pro, will my AirPods Max automatically switch to Dolby Atmos listening mode?

I cannot believe this myself - some of the most expensive bluetooth headphones, and atmos/spacial doesn't work from Logic Pro...
I opened the test project for spacial loops, and nope. I can't get it working. Seems like Apple Music is the only app. Frustrating.
