Overheating & Bulging battery !!! Macbook Pro 2015 mid

It was purchased brand new in 2017. It was used with care only once or twice a week. Currently only at 145 battery cycles. overheating problem, frosting on the screen and swelling of the battery. I have a serial number that is not included in the battery replacement program launched for the 2015 mid series. This is my only fault. The macbook pro, which I have only been able to use for 145 days, has now turned into a problematic device with the risk of burning at any time, and I hesitate to use it. When I transfer the problem to the Turkey Apple support team, they say to me that your device is not covered by this and leaves the customer alone with this problematic battery. This is absolutely unacceptable. I'm thinking of selling apple and all of the ecosystem because I lost my trust in this brand. I do not know what to do. I can't do a paid replacement because battery replacement in the service in our country is half of a civil servant's salary. this is ridiculous. I think that pouring gasoline on it and burning it and posting it on youtube will give me more income.

Lithium polymer batteries in computers are a wear item, like tires on your car or the soles of your shoes. From time-to-time, It is expected that they will need to be replaced.

This requirement can be set off by many different reasons, including (but not limited to) many charge cycles, exposure to high heat, or simply from the passage of time.

Swelling of a poorly-performing battery means that the time to replace it 'at your convenience' has passed, and it now needs to be done on an near-emergency basis. If it continues to swell, it can cause damage to adjacent components. if it is ignored, the capsule can burst and pose an increased risk of fire.

My wife's 15-in 2015 model WAS serviced under the service program. But just a month ago, we observed that the battery had expanded, and we had to arrange to have the battery replaced. The cost at that time was about US$200.

We had ours replaced in the first year under the service program. My wife uses it mostly as if it were a desktop Mac, and only uses it on battery at random a few days a month, and then generally not run especially low.

We confirmed in actual use that batteries are indeed a wear item, and that ordinary use can and the passage of time can still result in a battery swelling and needing to be replaced. Since ours had already been replaced under the service program, and the program has expired, we paid the about US$200 to have it replaced, and the computer is working great again!

If you find a device whose Lithium Polymer battery does NOT need to be replaced from time-to-time, I would like to hear about it -- as every device with such a battery we have ever owned has needed a battery replacement after a few years -- heavy use on not.
