Macbook 12" 2017 Battery Replacement Cost

I recently snagged a Macbook 12" 2017 i7 16gb for a very good price online.

The only downside was the battery health was down to 63% and was showing needs service

I've already booked the machine in for a battery replacement at my local Apple Store here in the uk, however wasn't too sure on the cost of the replacement? I called apple support and they were not keen on giving me an estimate on the phone.

So my question is... does anyone know the cost of a replacement battery to be fitted by Apple for the above model?

Try this website and see if it works for the UK too. It works for me in the USA.

Glad it worked for you. I tried helping somebody in Australia last week and even when I tried forcing my browser to the Australian site it didn't tell us. He had to call Apple Oz. Well kept secret in Oz. :-/

Am a little concerned with this replacement at my local Apple Store.

They took a labour deposit of £99 from me initially and then ordered the battery,

The part they ordered was actually the bottom casing with the battery built in

I called the store for an update mid last week and was told that the base inc battery had been fitted, however the engineer could not get it to power on!

They then said to give it 24hrs as the engineer wanted to "try something"

This was several days ago and have heard nothing since.

Anyone heard of any problematic battery replacements in these Macbook 12" models?

I found the uk equivalent
