Sim locked on iphone7

My sim was working till June then I moved to US and turned off my iPhone 7 for 5 months and last week I have to visit Pakistan and turned on my cell phone and sim is locked by service provider but after contacting my service provider they said there is no issue on our end. No other sim is not supported as well. Please let me know what’s the issue and what can I do
