Hello smart people, I migrated Catalina OS from a late 2009 iMac onto a Ventura loaded 2017 iMac. Airdrop has Disappeared. Please help. Very much appreciated.
Sending data, eg photo, from an iPhone, the iPhone picks up the iMac device but flashes "waiting". Forever.

You're welcome. Open Finder > Settings… > Sidebar and enable AirDrop. AirDrop has to be selected in the Finder Sidebar when you want to Airdrop something to your iMac.

OK. Thank you. It is not in the Finder Sidebar, :-) but is found at System Settings > General > AirDrop & Handoff.
Do you have AirDrop selected in the Finder Sidebar on your iMac?
Not what I asked but AirDrop is listed in System Settings > General > AirDrop & Handoff.

Hello, in the Ventura dropdown for System Settings The option is not there. It has completely disappeared. It was available before I migrated the Catalina OS.
