Are any of the Apple Watches safe to wear in an MRI environment?

I am interested in getting an Apple Watch. I work in MRI and the magnet will shut down the watch on my coworkers and patients. Are any of the Apple Watches safe to wear in an MRI environment? It would be nice to have 1 watch for daily activities as well as work and working out.

Many of the sensors are sensitive to magnetic fields, and the charging process itself is magnetic. Not only would it not work, I would think it might well be damaged beyond repair. I seriously doubt any smartwatch would be a good choice. That's my thinking as a physicist, but I found the following article which seems to back this up from experience.
