Entering Apple ID password on Apple Watch is too hard!
Is there an easier way than scribble to enter a password on Apple Watch? I recently had to change my Apple ID password and now need to update it on my Apple Watch. As recommended by security experts, I have a long password with upper and lower case, numbers, and special symbols (managed using 1Password). Entering this with scribble is nearly impossible because it keeps hiding the entered text so you can't see what you've entered and entering such random text strings is really difficult (you have to take a refresher course in entering symbols before you even think about starting).
My iPhone does allow the use of Apple Watch Keyboard input on my iPhone. I tried to paste the password into that field, which worked, but hitting return didn't seem to affect the Watch (there is no option on Apple Watch to enter the password using microphone or qwerty keyboard).
So it seems to me there are a number of "bugs" here. (1) When entering the password using scribble, you should be able to reveal all the text (if you wish). (2) the Apple Watch Keyboard on iPhone should work, which it doesn't for passwords (unless I don't know how to use it). (3) allow the use of vocal character entry or the on-face qwerty keyboard when entering passwords on Apple Watch.
If my password were short and simple, it might be easier to do, but that would violate all the rules for making up important passwords (mine is 25 characters long). These are hard enough to type in on a hardware keyboard without mistakes, especially if you can't see what you've already typed. Using Scribble, it's impossible. It should be possible to paste these passwords as I do with everything else in the Apple universe.
