anyone else experiencing both front and back camera’s on the new iPad Pro being extremely grainy? Both the preview and the final photo. Although the preview looks much better than the final photo. My IPhone from 2 years ago outperforms this by a lot. Isn’t this supposed to be top quality tech?

Not sure what is happenng with your iPad Pro rear camera, but the front facing, Centerstage camera only has resolution enough for FaceTime video calls, as the ultra wide angle lens coupled with the auto digitial pan and zoom feature work to reduce the overall resolution of the front facing camera.
In short, the front facing camera has NOT been designed to be used as a high resolution, “Selfie” camera, but strictly as a dynamic moving video call, video conferencing camera.

Like I stated, I am not certain why the iPad Pro rear camera is not producing great images for you.
That camera should not be having any issues.
That rear camera should be on par with any iPhone rear camera.
You may need to use the “Support” link, in the top black menu bar at the upper right hand corner of every Apple Support Community Webpage to attempt to schedule an appointment with your nearest Apple Store location.
Apple Store employees will be glad to help/assist you.

Thanks for clarifying the front facing camera. That still doesn’t explain the back camera which I saw on the apple ads as being amazing. It’s horrible. What’s the point of having a camera app if any picture taken is not ever worth showing?
