WHY ACCOUNT NAME ON IMAC IS IDLE

im not able to change the account name its only iMac. it is idled or not able to edit on the users group

Hello!

You can rename your macOS user account and home folder, which were named when the account was created: Change the name of your macOS user account and home folder - Apple Support. These steps must be performed in another administrator user account on your Mac: Change Users & Groups settings on Mac - Apple Support.
