The current versions of Pages, Numbers, and Keynote are at 12.2.1 and all require that you are running macOS Monterey or Ventura. Since you apparently never installed Pages v5 or later since Oct 2013 from the Mac App Store, there will be no means for you to get the last compatible application versions for High Sierra. Apple does not provide user-downloadable full installers for the older versions of these applications.
You can use Pages for iCloud with your Apple ID. It is less fully functional than its macOS counterpart but can open some of your older Pages '09 documents, and allow you to open newer Pages documents.
