How can I disable automatically creating QuickTime and Preview folder?

Recently I just find that every time I open an image by using Preview app or open a video by using QuickTime, folders named QuickTime and Preview alway be automatically created in my Documents folder (on my Mac, not iCloud Drive) even I delete them later.

This problem was never happened before.

Since I don't want these app create folder automatically since it is so annoying, how can I stop this.

(p.s. I also tried to disable syncing Preview and QuickTime in iCloud Drive sync list, close my iCloud Drive and/or log out my Apple ID based on solution mentioned on Internet, but all of these are not woking.)

You only see those icons if you turned on Desktop & Documents iCloud sync.

System Settings -> Your Apple ID at the top -> iCloud -> iCloud Drive -> Apps Syncing to iCloud Drive Options button.

Is Desktop & Documents checked at the top of the list?

If so then that is how it works by design.

You could turn off the Desktop & Documents sync. But you might need that if you are expecting to access files from your Mac via iCloud on mobile devices or sync'ing files between multiple Macs as well. Or accessing those files with the iCloud web based Pages, Numbers, Keynote.

Actually I was tried to remove iCloud sync for Desktop & Documents (and both QuickTime and Preview in the list), but the problem is still not solved😭

(and the problem just happened again after I open the screenshot above)

So after unchecking Desktop & Documents iCloud sync and removing the QuickTime and Preview folders within Documents, they keep re-appearing after opening QuickTime Player and Preview?
