iTunes Purchases missing

I very recently subscribed to iTunes match. Prior to that my iTunes purchases were visible on my iPhone and in iTunes even though they may not have been downloaded.


As of today my purchases are no longer visible in iTunes or my iPhone. They are not hidden in my iTunes account, I have checked. The download button is no longer on them when I am in the account menu of the iTunes store.


I have rebooted phone and laptop several times. I have no other devices on my account. I have signed out and in on my phone and iTunes several times. I have hidden and unhidden my purchases several times.


Not sure what else to do.

Check from your laptop, see -> Subscribe to iTunes Match -> Subscribe to iTunes Match – Apple Support (UK)

iTunes Match uploads your music library from the Apple Music app on your Mac or iTunes for Windows on your PC. Then you can access your music library on all of your devices that have Sync Library turned on.

To subscribe to iTunes Match, update your Mac to the latest version of macOS. On your PC, make sure you have the latest version of iTunes for Windows.

Everything is up to date. Sync is turned on. If I add music from my laptop it is available on my phone. The issue is all of my music purchased from the iTunes Store that were always available to download on my laptop or phone are no longer there.


that happened after I subscribed to match.


I only have 1 appleid and only ever had 1. The purchases span a period of time going back to 2004 when I purchased my first iPod. They always showed available to download from any iPad iPhone or iTunes since then. Until I subscribed to match.
