How do I fix WebKit encountered an internal error iPadOS 16.2
Hello, after updating my iPad to iPadOS 16.1, I’ve been getting this error on safari. (No before you tell me the title is wrong, it’s because the error also occurs on iPadOS 16.2).
I tried contacting Apple support, but they told me to talk to a senior advisor over the phone, which I can’t do for certain reasons I wish not to share.
Not being able to take my iPad to an Apple Store either (because the closest one is an hour away), that also severely limits my options. Has anyone else run into this issue, or is it only me?
I do have an iTunes backup, so I tried restoring my iPad with iTunes, then waited almost 2 hours for the update to complete, only to get the same error. I have not tried without restoring the backup, but I don’t want to lose any data, so that isn’t an option.
Quick note, forgot to mention in that text message conversation with Apple support that I did clear my browsing history and data, but that didn’t work. They didn’t ask me to do it at all so I completely forgot.
