Apple Watch Ultra region lock

Apparently Watch ultra is not ultra. In this world people are traveling and communicating. This device was having three different versions for three different regions in the world and they are not working at each region so this is for adventure and you can do your adventure only at your region and please apple don’t tell me it is frequency limitations because my oldest iPhone is working everywhere around the world but not Apple Watch Ultra. I purchased in the US and the guy said it will work everywhere and now I am at Europe for a while so I asked to take peoples of apple and they confirm it will not work with eSIM in here! I cannot return it back as I’ll be not around for a while in the US. So thank you Apple! not sure anyone can resolve that?

Should I do my adventures only in my watch reagion?

This is a user forum, you are not addressing apple here just fellow users

the rule of thumb so far have been that watches from usa, canada and mexico did not work elsewhere and watches from all other countries worked in all other countries

but some guy made a post claiming that an ultra or watch8 from usa worked in india

you can try contacting apple Support ->  Get Support (apple.com)

and or give them feedback -> Product Feedback - Apple

the explanation people was giving was the eSim tech which was for some reason different there, time will tell if this holds true for the new iphones where ones in usa only have eSim

as stated this is pure speculation and talking here is sort of like communicating with other customers in an apple store non of us can provide you with official stances

Exactly. That is my statement if it’s technically eSIM problem why my iPhone is working everywhere with eSim but why does not my Apple ultra! I need a technical exclamation in here. I don’t need just a statement from Apple website.

As it is, that means you will not be able to use Apple product anywhere in the world while you’re traveling especially such unique devices like watch ultra far adventures

You are asking only other users to explain this. We don't work for Apple. We don't work for the carriers who provide cellular service. We have no control over either side.

No one from Apple or your carrier is here and neither will respond. Your expectation for any solution to the regional differences with Apple Watch simply can't be addressed here.

That said, we have seen at least one carrier in India who does support Apple Watches sold in the US. So it appears a carrier, if they want can support the eSim frequencies from other regions. But that was the decision of the carrier. So petition your carrier where you are as they are the ones would need to support your watch. Apple doesn't provide cellular services. Carriers do.
