Bluetooth Monterery Sony speaker SRS-XB13

I had trouble pairing my SRS-XB13 speaker with my Macbook Air after updating to Monterery and no amount of restarting or reconnecting helped. Then I went to System Preferences > Sound and selected the speaker from there. It had defaulted to the Internal Speaker for some reason. I hope this helps someone else in a similar predicament.

Bluetooth speaker not listed in Output despite being connected MacBook Air M1, Ventura 13.3.1 My JBL Bluetooth speaker is paired and connected with my MBA but the sound is played only by the MBA itself, not the JBL. The JBL speaker is not even listed in the Output section in the sound settings - only the MBA speakers. I can't connect my bluetooth speaker I just got a new Macbook Air and I now can't connect to my Ultimate Ears Wonderboom bluetooth speakers. It doesn't show up and the bluetooth connection just spools.

B&O Beolit 20 bluetooth pairing with MacBook Pro I have a MacBook Pro running on macOS Ventura and I am pairing it with my B&O Beolit 20 (bluetooth appears connected to external device) - however the computer output volume still comes from MacBook's speakers. I have tried forgetting the external device and restarting both the laptop and speakers but the issue remains. Can anyone help with this?
