if my device were to be turned on right now would it be appear online no location just online or does it need internet also it's update to iOS 16 please answer me since my phone was stolen
To be shown in FindMy the device must be powered, connected to a network, and FindMy must be on
Assuming that you enabled the Find My option on the phone, to show up on a map, the phone needs to be on with good battery power and a good Internet connection where it is located.
If the battery has run down....or.....the phone does not have an Internet connection at the time, it is not going to show up.
It might show up as "last known location" in some cases, if the power loss or Internet loss was within the last day.
