iCloud support

I had an iPhone XR that the screen is blacked out. I can not access the iCloud information for that phone because I forgot the password, also have a new iPhone 13 and new number. I sent a request to have the old iCloud information sent to my new iPhone number.. Before I thought about it I had this information sent to my new iPhone number that is connected to my new iCloud.. but you can only have one phone number on an iCloud account. Which the reply stated in 24 hours they will decide if they can send my old iCloud information sent to my new iphone number. So I have two problems.

  1. Will this request for my old iCloud information affect my new iCloud account?
  2. I am trying to get the old iCloud information to get in to my Apple Watch so I can pair it to a different iPhone.

Hello Erica_nuccio,

Using the trusted phone number for your current Apple ID as the contact number for the account recovery request won't negatively impact that process.

If you are unable to regain access to your prior Apple ID via the account recovery process, you may be able to request to have Activation Lock removed from your Apple Watch using the link at the end of this resource: How to remove Activation Lock You'll need to provide your proof of purchase as part of that process. You'll also want to wait until the account recovery request has concluded before taking that route.

Hopefully that helps clarify your options.

Take care.
