Samsung 870 EVO Monterey update

is there anyone can install Monterey on Samsung 870 Evo SSD? Do you know how to update firmware on iMac 2015 late for Samsung 870 Evo. If there is no option I will replace it with Crucial or OWC brand SSD l.

iMac 27″, macOS 10.14

It would be up to the manufacturer to provide firmware updates for their product. In this case, Samsung. Contact them for assistance. Otherwise, replace it with a SSD from a manufacturer that supports Macs.

did you get anywhere with this im tearing my hair out, ive got a big sur volume samsung evo SSD thats full up but been working fine for 2 years , i upgraded to a 4TB version 870QVO and stupidly also upgraded to Monterey. Only to find that monterey makes a previous stable system totally unstable, this is aparantly somethign to do with the mac efi firmware update, yet another MAc upgrade issue non stop over 10 years. Now im trying to downgrade back to big sur but cannot get anything to work because of my disk space issue, which i think is being caused by photos) anyway if SSD worked it would be very helpful! Mac people jsut blame samsung, but of course windows always works !
