Why did Paramount+ refuse access on our Apple TV despite our having a subscription via Apple?

How did you subscribe? Watch it there.


  • If you subscribed in the Paramount+ app on any of your Apple devices, then you can view Paramount+ content in the Paramount+ app on any of your Apple devices.
  • If you subscribed in the Apple TV app to the Paramount+ Channel, then view Paramount+ in the Apple TV app on any of your devices.

These subscription types are mostly not exchangeable. They have different terms and conditions, different perks and limitations.


See your subscriptions overview - Apple

Verify that your Paramount+ subscription is listed as active. Verify if your Paramount+ subscription is marked as an tv channel subscription, or not.

Subscriptions are linked to your Apple ID account. They wouldn’t be available when signed in with different accounts.
