iPhone completely dark

So my iphone 12 completely switched itself off, when it still had quite a lot of charge left. When I got it to switch back on, the display is completely dark. Adjusting the brightness slider does not do anything. I can barely see anything.

I have tried switching on and off again, some problem. The apple logo is still very bright when it is first switching on for some reason.

Edit: I spilled tea around my phone earlier, but I didn't think that it had actually seeped through my phone. I can now see that there is liquid behind the back camera lense
