Just updated iOS on my iPhone 13 pro and. added some HomeKit plugs. Worked fine for a while except for an anomaly where one of the plugs was not showing up on the Home Kit list. Restarted phone. A grey screen came up after restart showing only Home Kit plugs...nothing else. But screen was unresponsive. went to restart and couldn't slide the turnoff slider. Can't enter password to get Siri to turn off.

2. Press and quickly release the volume down button.
3. Press and hold the side button.
4. When the Apple logo appears, release the side button.
