Fraud Apple Card hard reset
Has anybody been asked to do a hard reset on Appleid when fraud was detected on Apple pay

I got a phone call from the Apple Card “fraud” division Goldman Sachs. and there were fraudulent charges on my account. They went over charges and I told them which ones I did not make. They asked that I do a hard reset in my Apple ID so they could isolate what device was making the charges and block it. ?? Apple sent me a passcode and they asked for that.
