Apple newsletter email

I am, or was, subscribed the Apple News highlights newsletter that sends out every morning. They stopped about a week ago after I performed an update. I checked my Notifications and Email in the app and saw that it had turned off. When I toggle it back on a pop up window opens that says “sign me up” when I click on this, the screen immediately flips back to the previous screen showing the toggle off. Something is glitchy.

Hello Mike,

thank you for responding, but that is not the problem. I subscribed to Apple News highlights, I am not a News+ subscriber. So every morning I get a highlights news email. Some of the content is available, some of it requires a News+ subscription. I am attaching a pic of it below. I can’t get the whole thing in there, but under “Best of Apple News+” there are more sections of articles called:

  • 5 Stories We Are Talking About
  • Stories to Listen To (requires News+ Audio)
  • The Last Word

it’s like I was somehow unsubscribed to it

Thank you for any other insight you may have.

Greetings WinterNickel,

It sounds like you have some questions about the Apple News newsletter. We know how important this is for you, and you’re in the right place for answers. You must ban an Apple News+ subscriber to receive the newsletter.

Receive or stop receiving Apple News newsletters
You can choose to receive newsletters in your email inbox from Apple News editors highlighting top stories. If you’re an Apple News+ subscriber, the newsletters also highlight new issues of some of your favorite magazines. In some countries or regions, the newsletters can be personalized based on your interests.
