iPhone space bar not working

My space bar is not working. Does not react to any touch. iOS Version 16.1.2 Model iPhone 8 Plus.

I have rebooted, and did not change any settings regarding the keyboard.

Are you talking about the screen keyboard? Does it make a difference if you change the keyboard layout?
