... because I do not have access rights to some of the objects. I have like 5 documents here since 2020 and tried deleting them, followed instructions carefully but it seemed it´s impossible. Can anyone help me get rid these files?

Hi AngilynK,

You may be able to change the permission settings with these steps: If you need permission to open an item on Mac.

If you need permission to open an item on Mac
If you don’t have permission to open a file or folder, you may be able to change the permissions settings.

1. On your Mac, select the item, then choose File > Get Info, or press Command-I.

2. Click the arrow  next to Sharing & Permissions to expand the section.

3. Click the pop-up menu next to your user name to see the permissions settings.
If you’re not logged in as an administrator, you may need to click the lock  to unlock it, then enter an administrator name and password (or use Touch ID or your Apple Watch).

4. Change the permissions to either Read & Write or “Read only.”

Best regards.

Hi AngilynK,

Thank you for trying those steps.

What happens when you attempt to delete the file? Do you get a specific error message?

Are there any updates for the macOS that need to be installed? If an update is necessary it can cause unexpected issues such as this one.

1. From the Apple menu  in the corner of your screen:
Choose System Settings. Then click General in the sidebar, and Software Update on the right.
Or choose System Preferences. Then click Software Update.
2. If Software Update finds new software, click the Update Now or Upgrade Now button to install it.
Enter your administrator password, if asked. During installation, your Mac might restart, and you might see a progress bar or blank screen several times.
