iPad Pro with IOS 16.2 - External Displays
I’ve seen several YouTube video’s where individuals were testing the 16.1 or 16.2 iOS for the iPads and were able to connect 2 external monitors for use. I’ve tried 2 different docking stations with no results. I did order a USB-c hub and it will recognize that two monitors are ther e as it will open Stage Manager and allowed me to drag windows over but it does not separate the two external displays. It handles them as one. Under setting it shows one external monitor vs both.
Did apple turn this back off? I would assume if it works in beta it should work in main release too? I did see in the initial 16.1 release it was disabled…then turned back on in 16.2 but again only to allow one external monitor vs 2etc..
I did try two different monitors. Also tried using one HDMI and one VGA to see if it would notice they are different sources…but no luck. Am I just not using the correct USB-c hub or docking station?
Thanks,
