- The Find My service is the only recovery feature Apple offers. It MUST be set up before the device is lost. If you did not do that it is too late to do it now and there is no other feature Apple offers that can help you find it.

The phone is turned off?

You may be able to see its last location before it was turned off. This will show for up to 24 hours after the last known location was sent ( If Find My is offline or not working - Apple Support.)

You will otherwise have to turn to conventional methods for finding lost objects.
