I have updated to macOS montorary (I know I probably spelled that wrong) and am trying to download the cricut dashboard so that I can create and print files. When I try and download the app it states that I need macOS 11 or higher. I have 12. Help why can’t I download this app.

I figured out that for some reason it states that this app isn’t compatible yet I was able to go to the cricut website and download the app directly from them. I love my apple products but they do like to make things complicated at times.

The ideal source for Mac apps is the App Store: Download apps from the App Store on your Mac - Apple Support. It will tell you right away if an app isn't compatible.
The next best source is directly from the developer's website. One day we may no longer have that choice.
Describe how you are encountering that message. Does it appear when attempting to download the file, or when you launch the downloaded app? Where are you downloading that app from? The Mac App Store, or...?
