Safari website change

So this is the weirdest thing ever. I was flying on Southwest Airlines using my iPad on their network. Of course, they have their own page when flying. Whenever I try to put in a certain website, cnn.com, it then goes right to southwest web page. I can’t figure out how to fix it. I’ve closed the browser. Restarted the device. Delete web page information. It’s only the one page it does it too. Can anyone help?

Hi SafariHunter,

We appreciate you reaching out I'm Apple Support Communities, and we'll be happy to help with your iPad and Safari. If we understand correctly, when you try to go to CNN's website, you are directed to Southwest Airlines page.

Have you seen Customize your Safari settings on iPad? It has a of good information for customizing your settings. Do you have CNN set as a favorite? If so, can you delete and set it back up again to see if that helps?

If you still need help, let us know which iPad you have and the software version installed. Steps and settings can change between versions. You can find the version by going to Settings > General > About.

Take care!
