Esim not supported

I just bought a new iphone, with esim. I was not told actually at the store that this was an esim phone and could not check with my service provider before the purchase. Now I know that esim is not supported by my provider. So, I bought a very expensive metal box which is not operational without any advice at the store. How do you return the phone back in such situation?

If you bought the phone from Apple within the last 14 days, you can return it. If you bought if from another retailer, contact them to find out their return policy.

Did you by chance by an iPhone 14 series in the U.S. and then take it to another country? All iPhone 14s sold in the U.S. only have eSIMS.
