Removal Of Attachments

How can I get rid of attachments that keep showing on my emails to be sent out without losing the email. And once again I’m reaching out for some expert advice and please remember, if possible, keep it simple as I am computer illiterate.

How to send large attachments in email? What's the best/easiest way to send emails with large attachments? I'm using Mac Mail 16.0 and gmail as my internet account which limits email size to 25mb. I have shared files through google drive and iCloud which is kind of awkward to do and files shared in iCloud seem to affect the way I can manage them on in my desktop apps, like when I share a folder of word documents, I cannot rename them unless I unshare the folder. The native iOS/iPadOS Mail App does not have any facility to selectively delete attachments from Mail messages in isolation. For sent or received Mail, you can delete the entire message including attachments - but you cannot delete attachments alone.

Draft Mail messages are fully editable until sent.
