cannot buy music suddenly?

I suddenly cannot buy music from iTunes, even though I have buying songs and albums for years. In fact, I purchased and downloaded an album last night, but this morning I cannot buy anything. Next to the song is the price, with a drop down screen, but Buy is not listed, only add to wish list, gift to someone, etc.
