Hi there Conor_6,
Thanks for visiting the Apple Support Communities. If your camera preview is blurry, and/or your photos come out blurry, we would suggest trying the following troubleshooting, which is targeted at a blurry camera:
If your photos are blurry or the camera screen is black, here's what to do.
Remove case, accessory, or film and test
1. Remove any case, accessory, or film that might block the camera or flash or that places a magnet near the camera.
2. Test the camera by trying to take a photo.
3. Test the LED flash:
1. Try the flashlight in Control Center on your iPhone or Control Center on your iPad. On an iPhone X or later or an iPad, swipe down from the upper-right corner of the screen. On an iPhone 8 or earlier, swipe up from the bottom edge of any screen.
2. Tap the Flashlight button.
If the flash works only sometimes, open the Camera app and tap the flash buttonto choose a different setting.
These steps come from the Apple Support article If the camera or flash on you iPhone, iPad, or iPad touch isn't working - Apple Support, which does offer some additional, more advanced troubleshooting if you'd like to continue working on this on your own.
Alternatively, getting in touch with Apple Support would be the next step. They can take you through the additional troubleshooting, and will have access to additional tools and resources to determine why the camera is blurry. That information will allow them to tell you the best path to resolution, and whether or not it would include a repair. You can get in touch with them here: Get Support.
Have a good day!
