Multiple monitors

I have a Macbook Air with an M1 Chip and need to connect two additional monitors. Is this possible or can I only connect one additional monitor? What are the steps to connect and will it cause a problem if two monitors are connected - can only one be connected in order for this to work?

The M1 Chip Macs support only one external monitor.
