So I will start off by saying this is NOT about the safari search bar!!! I have been trying to find out how to change the pull down search menu. I hate it! Before iOS 16 when you pulled down to search the menu bar was at the top. Now the search bar is at the bottom, Kind of in the middle. This is very inconvenient for iPhones without a home button, and for people who have AssistiveTouch turned on.
How can I move the search bar back to the top?
I don't think you can change that behavior, which is by design.

Yes well it’s annoying when apple or their “brilliant” (NOT) developers change these things without an option to switch it back. Like they know best ? (NOT!)
