Using low energy bluetooth to pair with 2019 MacBook Pro

My new Oticon hearing aids pair beautifully with my iPhone 8 using low energy bluetooth. How can I pair with my 2019 MacBook Pro running macOS Catalina 10.15.7? The system report tells me that Bluetooth Low Energy is supported. I have not been able to find any information about how to use this specific feature.

Your Oticon aids will not be able to pair with your MacBook Pro. Your MacBook Pro uses classic Bluetooth 5.0. Talk to your audiologist about using a ConnrctClip, made by Oticon, to pair between your hearing aids and your MacBook Pro. https://www.oticon.com/solutions/accessories/connectclip
