MacBook Air Chinese Handwriting not working

I bought a new MacBook Air M1 recently. All well until I tried the handwriting Chinese character using the trackpad. Though the trackpad showed up, but drawing on it did not show any single stroke on the screen. Looked thru' Apple help, seems to have done all the right things including selecting handwriting input source etc.

But before that have updated to Ventura OS.

Any help or suggestions ? Thanks in advance !

Hi goatb,

If you are having trouble using Trackpad Handwriting, here are some resources that might help:

  1. Ensure it is set up correctly - Set up a Chinese or Cantonese input source on Mac
  2. Follow Use Trackpad Handwriting to write Chinese or Cantonese on Mac
  3. Check your input - Switch to a Chinese or Cantonese input source on Mac
  4. If you are using multiple Trackpads, test with only one connected.

Hope this helps.

Take care.
