What is "Setup" process in activity monitor?
I'm on slow internet connection 5Mbps and this is using all my bandwidth.
How is it possible there is no option to set connection as mettered, so this kind of downloading is not happening?

A - From my experience the " mettered " function is in an Microsoft Windows operating system which AFAIK does not exist in macOS
A - As for " Setup " in Activity Monitor - was there some Third Party Software being installed

A - Would suggest contacting your ISP for options to increase the Speed of your connection or find another ISP that can provide a speeder connection
Wish list = add a " Feature "
Product Feedback - Apple and make it known to Apple regarding a request for a Feature to be added.
When enough people make a similar request, sometimes Apple Acts upon the request.

I was in the countryside where the connection speed tends to be slow and no ISP offers better connection in those areas.
So that's why it would be helpful to offer functionality allowing you to restrict bandwidth usage to only essential communication (Even if you don't need it 99% of the time, there are times when this would be amazing to have)
Is there a wishlist anywhere on the apple site where one can vote for features (or create them) to be implemented?
*I'm new to macOS and I generally like it, but sometimes I want to bang my head against the wall with the way some functionality is implemented (or it's just missing)
