Apple Event: May 7th at 7 am PT
I try to send a large file (15MB) with Apple Mail (MacOS 12.6.1 Monterey), but it gets stuck in the outbox folder.
I checked my mailaccounts (preferences- accounts) and Mail Drop is activated.
Any suggestions?

Suggestion to " Take All Accounts OffLine " as per image below.
This should all the User to Delete the file attachment
Then, Compress ( zip ) the file as per second image
Bring accounts back Online and attach the Compressed File and try sending again.
Certain ISPs have Limits on File attachment sizes and by compressing the file may allow for a successful transmission
Problem solved itself after half an hour...
