Product is on hold

I ordered a iphone 14 pro max from apple. Now its on hold and waiting for payment. How long apple hold the product and how to update the payment option?

When you place an online order there's an authorization Apple receives to charge your card before your purchase is shipped. Once the order has shipped, then your card will be charged. To update the payment on your order, contact Apple directly.
