Vertical lines on screen

I have vertical lines on the right side of my screen. It is about 2.5 inches wide. When I took a

screenshot, it did not show the lines. Any help is appreciated!

You've performed the appropriate troubleshooting steps to confirm the problem. Since the lines only appear on the laptop's built-in display and not on the screenshot, this means the Display Assembly on the laptop is bad. You will need to have Apple or an Apple Authorized Service Provider examine the laptop to provide you with a repair estimate.
