iPhone on metal surfaces

Is it safe to put my iPhone 14 Pro max on a metal surface (eg a metal table)? I notice it sticks to metal surfaces

It’s safe. there is a magnet in the back to accommodate MagSafe chargers and accessories.

There is no way to secure the phone on the latest trade in kit ? The latest trade in kit has no mechanism for securing the iPhone with a plastic jacket as in the past. So it will slosh around. Is this ok
